Hobbies

There is artistry to teaching which makes it very spiritual for me. When walking with my students through the four stages of learning, then watching that light come on in their eyes when they go from catching on to where they begin to synthesize with what is being taught; at that moment I know they are off to developing the next level or creating the new language for whatever was they just mastered. Other than teaching, I love art, music, the outdoors, and prayer. Quiet time is very precious to me although spending it with someone pleasant is right up there with the divine order of thing in my thinking.
